Always use a top link

Although sniffing  works well technically, using a top link to an online version of your
email in your HTML messages is a smart idea. Lotus Notes, for instance, has difficulties with understanding sniffing techniques. As with Macintosh users, click-through links are sometimes not clickable if the entire link is not shown in the email.

A text stating :
“If you can not read this email, please click here or use the following URL” will help you to solve this problem.

By clicking this link, the reader will have the ability to read the entire HTML email as an online displayed webpage. When combining the sniffing technique with an HTML top link you will be absolutely certain that your message is readable by every email client.

Just a friendly reminder, people often forget this one 😉
